Happy Days...

I graduated from Sree Nidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST), Hyderabad and this part of my life can be called as "Happy Days". I joined this college in 2002 in ECE discipline. My entire college life can be summed up as friends + friends and only friends. I was lucky enough to get an amazing group of friends, who made time just to pass by.

Before joining SNIST, i was an introvert and whose life only thought about books, marks and big aims. I joined SNIST for the sole reason of getting a good job once i pass out. Though my grad days was all about fun, bunking, organizing; still it was a transition in my life regarding my thought process, PR skills and ambitions.

Rather than the college it was because of my friends that made me a better human being. On the credits list, the first name without any iota of doubt it should be YV (Y. Venkateswara Rao). He is intelligent, damn cool (never saw any1 else so cool as dis guy is!!), hardworking, but above all he is a very good human being. This innocent bugger was squeezing my hand and i had to manage a smile in pain. Thanks to haritha for taking this wonderful snap.

Then there is Vamsi and Vish who are very important to me this day. Shall dedicate separate posts for these three important people in my life. Now if your termed as a good guy u should never your forget your sister and she is Radhika (she might get a Nobel to India!!). Raghav, Ketan, Monu, Pratik, Somu sum up my close friends list.

I was lucky to be part of ECE B which was completely opposite in nature to the ECE A ( nothing personal!). We were considered to be lesser mortals as we were considered less intelligent (based on EAMCET ranks), never used to maintain silence in classes, never prepare for the classes before but we made up with our fun loving, always smiling attitudes. The down pic about my class and the bugger took the pic.

Suresh, say his name and i get chuckles, he used to crack jokes and even the teachers used to enjoy his veg. jokes (hehe). We had an amazing time because of his mimicry, and his awesome jokes. This funky guy always includes me in his jokes and sometimes i have to curse him with a smiling face.

You want to learn how to give counter comments and Sugun props up in my mind. This happy-go lucky man has an awesome attitude and i'm a big fan of him. With this fellow, your days just go pass without u even knowing!!. Thanks to Sugun we had great fun in the classes. Thanks to him, i learnt and practiced how to hit girls with chock pieces. (haha...)

Then there was Vijesh, whose only work was to look Swetha (cant reveal finer details...). Other than this, he plays cricket well, always gives his attendance when the third person after him has to give. Vishal, Kranti are the persons whom i cannot forget in my life as they were helpful all throughout my grad. days.

One fine morning in Jan 06, we all bunked the classes and went for a trip to Indira Park. We made sure that this was kept a secret in our college as there would be some junk fines and all. Lucky that we escaped without any scratch though it was later known. As usual me and YV were punctual (me had to be punctual bcos of bugger). We had a great day playing cards with real money in bet, then common lunch. We played tug of war and there was an injury list also. Vahini got injured on her leg and Sugun took great care to make sure it was fine. In between we had to bear Suresh's jokes who was on a roll that day.

Continuing on our tradition of togetherness, we had a party in Bottles n Chimney's in May '06. YV and me organized this meet and thanks to my friends for making this a great success. It was a day of high voltage as everyone danced and sang with full energy and we looked like a bunch of people who were waiting for this moment for a long time. Snap was taken at the end of the day, we could still give such a good pose after a tiring day. Every summer from then, people used to meet regularly (i missed out..hmm....), probably shall catch you guys next year.

Happy days taught me value of friendship, gave me real friends when i was in bad situations later in my life, they stood like pillars of support when i needed the most. College gives knowledge, ranks, placements but it also gave me a great set of friends that's the most cherished i have got. Love you all a lot and wish you all people great success in whatever you do.

Signs off
Urs Ved
